Born in Memphis, Tenn and making making my way to Seattle, I graduated from the University of Washington with a Bachelors of Arts in Communication in 2000. GO HUSKIES! It was there, where I grew to love photography and more specifically photojournalism.

I’ve crisscrossed the country five times interning at various large market newspapers from The Seattle Times, The Times-Picayune and The Ft. Lauderdale Sun-Sentinel.  I landed a job as  staff photojournalist for The Washington Post.

My work has appeared in print, on the web, in books and various magazines nationwide and I have placed in international photo contest.

Currently, I make my home in Seattle, WA with my wife and two boys.

“Your work is simply AMAZING!!!!  We both couldn't stop talking about how wonderful you were during our wedding.  Thank you so much for capturing so many wonderful moments.  We will cherish every picture for the rest our our lives.  You are simply the best”

“He has captured the moment...as if the photos are alive and breathing!  He is great!”

“Thank you so much. You did an awesome job with our wedding. We were so happy. It went really well.

“We had such a wonderful time at the wedding and it was such a pleasure to work with you!  Your professionalism and talent as a photographer were evident even to our untrained relatives' eyes whom you really impressed - even before they saw any of the pictures you posted on your website!”

“All our friends still say we had the best photographer!  It was such a pleasure working with you and I really hope we can work together in the future as well! Thanks for the outstanding and memorable wedding keepsakes!”

“You are an amazing photographer. Everyone commented on how incredible the photos were and the way you moved around so easily.

I usually hate myself in pictures but I loved these. You completely captures the wedding-from the family pictures in the church to those fantastic ones on Michael’s guys.

The shot of Michael outside with his dad was especially poignant.

We can’t thank you enough for capturing the memories of the most important  day for us so perfectly.”
